Things are always changing...but it's a real slow process...there are some significant hurdles before TLC has a visible impact in Costa Rica.

Tico Roots.
There is going to be free trade. No more paying triple for wat things cost.

lynn h
Now that TLC has past I assume American companies will come into Costa Rica to do business. I am an American living here. How do I find out what companies will be coming to do business and contact them for possible employment?

nmp
well if you live there and in the states like i do you can bring a car in now without paying what the car is worth in taxes....

Tico86
I think it will be business as usual for a while, the changes brought about by CAFTA will not happen overnight.

It hasn't been ratified yet. They are still working out the details. Hopefully nothing will happen for a few years. Want to know more check out amcostarica.com a daily on line newspaper in English
