The only time I've been to Honduras it was to the city of Copan to visit the Ruins of Copan. I had no clue where to stay, but the town was small so I walked and when into different "posadas" or "motel" and asked for prices (shopped around) until I found something that fit my needs.
Did the same in Antigua Guatemala.
Many of the places you can stay, are not advertised. If El Pedegral is a small town you can do the same as I did, plus by walking aroung you can enjoy the town and get to know it better.

I'am a little unfamiliar with "el pedregal" where is that located? I know of a area in Tegucigalpa known as Pedregal is that it? If the town is small you probably wont find a hotel but try looking for the closest major city near it. GOOD LUCK!

U gotta specify which El Pedregal is, if its the neighborhood in Tegucigalpa its almost impossible to find a hotel there, besides its a kinda dangerous zone, but anyway u can search for other nice hotels in the city.

There are two El Pedregal important in Honduras
Tegucigalpa, my advice stay in a Hotel far from this zone. It is dangerous. Try Taca.com and letsgohonduras.com arrecifetours.com
San Pedro Sula. It is upper class zone, There is not Hotel in here, but near is The clarion hotel and the princess-hilton.Maybe the Real intercontinental and The hotel copantl .Ask for these.

El Pedregal is a lower middle class neighborhood in Tegucigalpa (the capital city). It is also the name of an upscale neighborhood in San Pedro Sula (Honduras second largest city). Should El Pedregal be a small village, I am afraid you will not be able to find a hotel and have to choose stay with local families in exchange for a small fee.
