There are so many sales and discount tickets nowadays that I would recommend flying instead of going by bus. It's a long ride, it takes around 12 hours. However, Austral or Aerolineas Argentinas can take you there quickly and cheaply. Just browse their wab pages for special offers.

I am from Argentina, the trip is quite long, depending on the route they take.

I estimate it may be 12 hours at least.

I´m also from argentina and the trip may take aroung 11 hours considering there are 1096 km (681 miles) from Mendoza to Bariloche. If you have the time and wanna enjoy a nice view, i´d say go for it.
But then if you want a little piece of advice, why don´t you fly over there?
