Fly into San Jose, rent a car and drive to Arenal... the view and drive are incredible! stay up there for a few days at the Los Lagos Hotel and Tabacon Hot Springs Resort. Both of these hotels will hook you up with everything there is to do up there.... river safaris, canopies, waterfalls, white water rafting, hikes, you name it. Than drive down to the Pacific Coast in Flamingo Guanacasta and stay at the Flamingo Marina Resort.... this town is quaint and the beaches are the best in Costa Rica. You can fish for marlins offshore or dive, snorkel, surf, shop, dine... again whatever your interests are. If you decide to offshore fish I charter in Costa Rica!
