Go to San Andres Island Colombia. Great night life. Good beaches. Lots to see.. Rent a golf cart.. see West View, The Blow hole (have a coco loco) Stay at the Mar Azul (all inclusive) Dive the sunken airplane. See Morgans cave. See the freshwater Reservoir. See the view from the baptist church on top of the island. Its terrific.

Belize and Guatemala. In particular, San Ignacio in Belize and Tikal in Guatemala. Do a computer search on "ATM Caves" in Belize and on "Tikal" in Guatemala. The snorkeling from Caye Caulker in Belize is also great. I suggest you take the full day trip, not the half-day.

However Costa Rica is the place to go, there are many things to do and see, you need at least a month or so to not miss too much of it.
