There isn't such a high tourist demand to Colombia so the fares don't vary much. Expect to pay 700 euro on average.

Remember to stop by the tourist tax counter near the baggage pickup to avoid having to pay a departure tax when it's time to go. Will save you a few bucks on the way back home. They'll give you a slip of paper that you need to present when you exit the country.

Have fun!

During the last year British Airways, suspended the non-stop flight to Bogota, Colombia and it will not be available until next year. So the best routes you can do are the following:

-London to Madrid, Madrid to Bogota (Iberia) 684
-London to Paris, Paris to Bogota (Air France)

The best time to travel to Bogota, will be in October and November, this is low season and the weather in Bogota is great, hotels are cheap during this season, a great hotel will be the Casa Medina, look for it in internet. I calculated a round-trip from London to Bogota in booth Airlines in october and the prices are:

Iberia: 692 Euros

Air France: 642 Euros

If you need more information just ask, try to check the hotel it is excellent and it is located in a great zone of Bogota.

Well, I think that the best time of year to fly is before december, because in december airplane tickets and hotels use to become more expensive. Well, there are places in Colombia which use to be cheaper than others, for example Quindio is a very good choice, very nice environment, a better weather and the most important: cheaper than Cartagena and other places.
You can get information about tourism in Colombia in this web-page.

Around Christmas and Easter are very high times as everyone in Colombia is vacationing. It might not be too expensive for the flight but the hotel is going to cost you.

good luck
