The only cause is FARC, nevertheless they are being eradicated by the army. So today the country is very safe, most of the rebels are returning to civil life and the rest of them are being killed. The FARC leaders are hiding in Venezuela and Ecuador and the drug production is being eradicated by Police and DEA.

I do like Colombia a lot.
People deem it a dangerous place to visit or to live because all the bad news we read, hear, get from tv, newspapers, internet, magazines, etc.
That's the main focus: violence, drugs, guerrilla, etc.
I can't wait to visit Colombia again!

la guerrilla is one and drug related violence but still what other places are not dangerous every where u go is not safe. but colombia is such a beautiful place.but still i really want to go to colombia my parents are from Cali Colombia.And we also have family in Cali and they havent been hurt yet .
