I was born in the US. Dad was a diplomat. Raised in Colombia. Married to US citizen for 23 years. She passed away from Breast Cancer. Later married Colombiana. Pros and cons to both. My US wife was less loving, but she was less maintenance. My Colombian wife is very loving but requires a lot of attention. Both were very focused on their families and both interested in how they looked all the time. Having a bi-cultural family is fun and mixing and contrasting the two cultures has been a blast. Before I got married the 2nd time I dated A LOT. US women my age that are either single or divorced are mostly insane. Plus, I always felt like I was 2nd best to their kids or whatever. Plus' and minus' to both.

I would think that a Columbian woman might want a man who is the leader of the family and thinks that family is important. Not like American women, who only care about money and what it can buy.

I think Colombians live better for many reasons.

American women think that expensive clothes and accessories is happiness, but in return they get treated like puppets.

Colombians would choose a man that treats them with respect and dignity. Now, When hasn't that made any woman happy?

Well I am not sure if I understood you

but first let me tell you the Colombian women ARE AMERICAN

America is a Continent and Colombia is a country of the American Continent

But if you are referring to US women that is another story.... most Latin American women are attached to values, while US women are very liberal.

They could be the same, right? You are both Columbian and American. I fail to see that there is even a question being asked here.

well i would believe that any woman can be educated and thrive the only thing is I notice American women tend to be more independant and Colombian (latin) women are more focused on being a housewife, a wife, and mother which is ok if thats what they like but me personally I could not let a man run my life.
