unpractical to go for a day.

It is 600 miles. So think 1.5 hours from Guyaquil to Galapagos. You could see Darwin Station in a day.. but I dont know if there is a flight that goes back later. (check www.aerogal.com) and honestly, why waste a trip there if you can stay and see the islands? They are truly amazing and you would regret for the rest of your life if you only spent just part of one day there.. and to just get into the park is $100.00 US .. More than one day would make it more worthwhile.

Lolli
The flight costs like 400 Euros. Its pretty far, so you cant go by ship. If you are super rich, then I am sure it would be possible to get a flight back the same day. But why would you?

A yeah, forgot to say, entrance to the islands is $100.
