If by gorgeous you mean showily brilliant or magnificent I would not agree. I feel that no doubt her turnout is splendid but there is nothing showy about it As one poem describes the heroine she walks in beauty.There is an indescribable soothing charm about her. The actress(In fact to term what she does as acting in rather unjust. As they said about Raj Kapoor he 'reacted' rather than 'acted, Her performance is akin to it. There is nothing artificial about it or anything laboured) comes nearer to an actress(I forget her name but she had acted with SRK in a picture about patriotism directed by him) The proud retention of her odd family name by her in the pictures shows that she is amost our next door girl. Aish may be more beautiful but that beaury has some remoteness about it. Deepika could be our neighbourer's daughter and come callin 'Uncle' any time.Her debut performance has created many hopes about her.
