I just got back from Costa Rica. Any traveler should get Hepatitis vaccines. If you plan on spending lits of time in the jungle you should get malaria pills. If you are at resorts just use bug spray. Always update your tetanus shot as well. Edited to add...none of these are required.

I think the yellow fever vaccine but I would double check with the Costa Rican consulate. Costa Rica has a lot of jungle and they usually ask for this vaccine when travelling to latin amercian jungles.
