Do I need to bring jeans or pants with me to Guatemala in Dec/Jan?
Trying to pack as little as possible for a two week trip. It all has to fit in one backpack.
Yea, you prob. should. It's usually always warm during the day time but can get and usually does get pretty chilly at night. Make sure you bring a sweater, you'll def. need one. Im guatemalan but was born and raised here and from going to visit family almost every other year I've learned that the temp. over there changes quite often. Either way, hope you enjoy your trip its a VERY beautiful country.

I would say bring one pair of both because the weather here is pretty crazy. December and January are pretty cold at night depending on where you are in Guatemala. But for wearing them during the day, I think jeans are best.

I would take some, not because it is December or January, but because of the altitude, it gets a bit cool at night or if you go high into the mountains. Same goes for a light jacket.

Wear jeans. Everyone who comes back from there comes back with these:

I would say jean if you are going to Guatemala in mexico because it gets a little cold and break a light jacket.
