Do I pack shorts and short sleeves for Costa Rica? |
The travel agent guide book said to pack long pants and long sleeves because of the mosquitoes but, said nothing about shorts and short sleeve shirts. I thought it was hot there, so wouldn't I need shorts and something lighter? |

Its easier to take mosquito repellent then taking pants or long sleeve shirts, Costa Rica weather is very nice but sometimes it can be a little hot i would say 80' to 90' it depends where you are going, nights are very confortable 65' to 75' and lots of breeze going through at most times. Jeans are ok for evenings if you are not at the beach i recommend sandals and tennis shows . Enjoy it, its a very nice country , you will love the people and the surroundings if you like spicy food then take ur own sauce Costa Ricans do not eat spicy food at all, the best youll find is tabasco sauce. I go about 3 times a year and completely love it. Hope this helped. |

Def take shorts & tee shirts but you will want a hoodie or something for the evenings if you are going into the interior. |

use shorts. mosquitos here are a pain but use some OFF and that will solve the problem. imaging you on the beach with long sleeves and long pants. ha ha ha... god... use whats makes you confy and enjoy. where are you going (visiting) here in costa rica? |

I usually take a pair of jeans and a pair of shorts to Costa Rica. I don't find it too be overly hot, but I suspenct that would change in different locations. The forests are well covered and I usually hike in Jeans and a t-shirt. I find the evenings a little cool, and always bring a jacket. Just to be on the safe side, I'd bring both (I usually do). |

when it rains it will flood the roads like a river and go on 2 the pavement, but when its hot u have 2 change ur clothes 2-3 times a day
