Do peruvians support garcia?

Generally Peruvians do support Garcia's actual government because we support Democracy. Garcia saved us from becoming a branch of the HUGO CHAVEZ's Gang.To understand better what is happening in Peru I have to say that we hit bottom during Garcia's first term, then Fujimori showed everyone that Peru can become a prosperous and viable country and has been doing so for the last 18 years, no matter who the president is (Fujimori, Toledo or Garcia).Since the elections of 2006, a new threat appeared, an unknown candidate with no obligation towards "The People" and who's champaing was entirely financed by Hugo Chavez (it's said that he alone recieved at least one million dollars), this candidate was Ollanta Humala.Hugo Chavez's strategy to control a presidential seat on a nearby country, specialy a Coca leaf production country like Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru. Starts off by seeding hatred among the small and isolated towns of the provinces. Even thought Peru could be having it's best economy yet, they tell the people that they are being riped off by the government and Ollanta Humala is going to reverse all that.So right now most of us peruvians are waiting for the next election and we are going to support whoever candidate is going to the 2nd round of voting against Ollanta Humala (and Hugo Chavez) it doesn't matter if is Alan Garcia, Keiko Fujimori (daughter of the ex-president), Alejandro Toledo. It's just for a simple reason, it's Democracy against tyranny!

HOla
well thats a 50/50 Im peruvian but I dont live in Peru anymore..however I have family is still there and I know that most people support some things about him...he made big mistakes in the past and people are giving him a chance to make up for it...I know he has helped with health care and education...but there is so much more to do...unemploynment and poverty for example... so nobody is going to support any president 100%..a lot of people also want the country to change in 5 years...but thats going to take more than that..

this might not answer you question but you wont get a straight answer from anyone..some people hate him some people like him...

I will support anyone who wants to improve the quality of life for peruvians...but I havent seen that yet...

At the moment, most Peruvians are dissatisfied with their president's performance.

HIGADO (inmune a CNN)
I´m not peruvian, but I don´t believe that hey support him, because Alan Garcia is a fascists, pro-fujimori, ultra-right politic...
