Does Costa Rica have any "Mayan" ruins any place in the country? If so where are they located?

No Mayan ruins, the only sizeable ruins are Guayabo near Cartago and Turrialba. There is a small group of people called the Chorotega that are believed by many to be descendants of Mayan refugees and their traditional pottery still shows a Mayan theme/influence.

costa rica
no they dont!

a good starting point for anyone wanting to visit CR is to get a guide book-Moon or Lonely Planet arte good- then, once you have a general idea.
ask more specific questions on travel forums like this!

I don't think Costa Rica has any Mayan ruins today. The indigenous people in that part of Central America were migratory, moving with the seasons. They didn't build anything durable enough to survive.
