Where exaclty in North Peru? It can be Trujillo, Colan, Mancora, Tumbes, Piura, Chiclayo, etc!!!
It is very difficult to rent a place for less than 6 months, and the people renting flats always ask for a (at least) 3 month guarantee.
I suggest you go to a nice hotel or hostel and book a room for 3 weeks.
One of the things you can also do is check www.elcomercioperu.com (biggest and most important newspaper) and see if they are offering something.
If, by any chance, you plan to stay near Trujillo, I strongly recommend Hostal Bracamonte in the town of Huanchaco (on the coast) It has a beautiful beach and I stayed there for 2 and a half weeks, breakfast included. It's safe, cheap and very nice. |
