In addition to navyexwife's suggestions, traveling and sight seeing is inexpensive and interesting in Honduras. Even if you only have time for a day trip the many local busses that are available have really cheap fares and are an excellent way to see the country. |

the best things you could do is visit Copan, a site of mayan ruins were there you can also go horse riding and dthings like that. Well other than that you could go to San Pedro Sula a very beautiful city. also go to the different exoic forests in honduras. I don't recommend you to go to Tegucigalpa or to the beach there is better things to do than that. |

Where in Honduras are you? I lived in San Pedro Sula (wouldn't recommend it by the way). The beaches on the Caribbean side are awesome. I highly recommend Omoa if you want to get away from it all. Have you been to 'the Bay Islands? Hopefully you're learning to scuba dive there.
go to futbol (soccer) matches, that's a huge part of the culture may as well enjoy it. |
