From what I understand it isn't that easy, I have been trying to trace my father without success.
I was under the impression their birth, deaths and marriages register wasn't as easy to access as records here and even with friends in Bogota I have been stumped.
You could write to the last known address you have and ask them if they knew your friends. |

Other than google internet, you can use the white pages (PUBLICAR s.a ) perhaps if you had a more especific question i could help you more. if you have a physical addres or telephone number, the local taxi companies sometimes can give you the information you need. it depends on the operator and the city. |

You don't specify exactly WHERE in Colombia you would be looking for these people, but they have agencies that specialize in just that sort of thing. If you are looking for someone who has absconded with your child or other valuables you believe is hiding in that country, a good P.I. will be able to track them($$$$). If you are talking about a girlfriend or a woman you saw a photo of online, there are matrimonial agencies which contain databases of pictures and addresses to connect people of different genders internationally. This isn't free, but less expensive than the P.I.! I hope that helps... |

Depends...if you know people in colombia it should be fairly easy. All you need is a first and last name and go from there. If you have their ID number even better! Also, if the people you know in colombia have good connections...all you need to do is pay them a few bucks and they'll get everything you need. : ) yes I'm Colombian |
