English Websites for Panamanian News?

I often visit "The Panama News" website which appartently is an English langauge website for purely Panamanian News (Apologies, but I don't speak Spanish).

Can anyone tell me if it is a reliable guide to Panama ?

+ Yes, I just got back and it was good I found out about the transcontinental train and Martie's Dancing girls. (They are good and not strippers or anything like that) very informative and helpful. Don't go wandering around Colon unless you want to tricked into emptying your wallet or buying fake Cocaine.
Things to buy are the embroidered cloth squares and the Ivory nut carvings. Have fun

I believe the newspaper you are talking about is called ‘La Prensa’ in Spanish. It is the largest newspaper service in Panama and widely read by the people of Panama. It is an accurate glimpse of the news and attitudes of Panama. It is widely quoted and translated by versus website providing news and information to English speaking people. (for an example see http://www.panamaexpertos.com/ ).

www.panama-guide.com and www.panama-travel-bureau.com
both offer good local news.

My wife is from Panama and this is the best news site I've seen yet...

http://www.panama-guide.com/

Note, if you want a "guide" to Panama... I would buy a recently published book. There are plenty of them out there and they often provide a wealth of information and history of Panama.

Sorry, I can't comment on the website you referred to in your question as I'm not familiar with it.
