Going to Costa Rica in May wanted to know if i need to make reservations?

I was told that it was not necessary. Definitely wanted to spend a night or two in Quepos. Thanks for the advice

If you will be staying in any hotel. in which they have a restaurant, may I highly recommend as a professional travel agent that you better make the necessary as fast as possibles for the dates that you want to stay there because the hotel definitely sells out quickly so therefore please do not wait until the last minute because if you do the rates to stay there will be very expensive.

You definitely want to do reservations. The sooner you reserve you might get lower rates. Also places like Quepos have few availability since they are small places.

if you want to pay cheaper prices= then don't pay in advance. There are always openings..and for the same hotel you can get a better rate once you are in the country.

You definetly want to do reservations. The sooner you reserve you might get lower tarriffs. Also places like Quepos have few availability since they are small places.

Since it's the start of the rain season you really don't have to. There are dozens and dozens of hotels in that area...there's no way they would all be booked up in May.

May is the start of the raining and slow season.

True, reservations may not be necessary during this time, however, making reservations (as far ahead as you can) does two important things, 1) Guarantees you a place to stay or piece of mind. 2) Since it is the slow season, hotels are more apt to give you a discount and in some cases one can save themselves as much as 40% on lodging and other recreations.
