Guatemale is famous for the ruins of a great Mayan city in Tikkal. Just Google it. Also, Lake Atitlan near Panajanchel is a beautiful location; the lake is surrounding by volcanic mountains. Guatemala has beautiful flowers year round, as it is called "the land of the eternal Spring" because of its temperate climate. The city of Antigua is also beautiful, charming, and is a lovely vacation spot, as it is inexpensive for most Westerners.
