It all depends on what you like to do. If you like to lay down on a beach and relax go to Honduras, there's an island there named Roatan wich is great for that, lots of hotels to do that kind of stuff. If you like adventure and going to ruins, kayaking, jungles, different culture, and sight seeing go to Guatemala, there's lots of stuff to do that gets you off your butt.

I've never been to Guatemala, although when I backpacked in Honduras most of the people I met who had said that Guatemala was better. But it probably depends on what you want to do and how you're traveling! I'd go on the Lonely Planet forum and see what people are saying there.
