Hi Melvin. Well, the first is of course that it has the panama canal.
second a large chunck of it people are english speaking afro-panamanians, decendants from the jamaicans that build the canal.
thirdly, it is known as the wall street of latin america, fo its large amount of banking and finance institutions
fourth, because of those institutions, panama city has a large and interesting skyline, with 7 of the top ten highest buildings in latin america.
and fifth, that the american dollar is the legal tender, or money used in panama. there are local coins called 'balboas' but all the paper money is U.S. american dollars.
