Don’t feel bad Anna, I am a Nicaraguan who studied in the States. Many people asked me where is was from, when I answered Nicaragua MOST of the time I received the answer “is that in Africa?”… It was fun when people asked me about Nicaragua, I enjoyed telling people that we all walked around naked, we had no computers nor TV, never had we seen cars. People actually believed me. I had a lot of fun with it. So do not feel bad. But I strongly advice you to read a bit about the AMERICA landmass we all live in.
North America (US – Canada – Mexico)
Central América (Guatemala – Belice - El Salvador – Honduras – Nicaragua – Costa Rica – Panamá)
South América (Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Perú, Chile, Argentina, Brasil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia)
Nicaragua is extremely poor, only Haiti is poorer than Nicaragua
Hope this all helps. |

Oh Dear!!!!!!!! You need to get your atlas out. Nicaragua is currently as we write making news because they have just had an election and for some of course the result didn't go the right way.
It is in Central America situated between Costa Rica, El Salvador and Honduras. The spoken language is Spanish.
It is a very poor country but very beautiful, particularly Isla Omnepete here you will find 2 perfect volcanos in the middle of a Lake Nicaragua. Leon and Granada are also a must. |
