??? I guess if it says so,,, then it must be... I would personally think not,,,, It's a French speaking country and its' people are almost exclusively of African decent ......
I would think that it's about as Latin American as Jamaica... which is not at all....... |

Latin America is Spanish north & south America...therefore even though countries like Belize, Jamaica, and Haiti are located in the area - they AREN'T latin american - because they have different colonial histories and don't speak spanish...
By this logic Brazil is also not latin american either - it's the largest country in south america, and 2nd biggest in the americas (5th biggest in the world) and deserves a category of its own. |
