i was there amonth ago. and im going back tomorrow, its the cheapest place in southamerica by far and its beautiful if you have any interest in taking actually organised tours do it while in bolivia, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, jungle trekking, and for god sakes go to the salars de uyuni, but remember this... go to the island, and do it backwards, youll know when you get there. the only downside of bolivia is the lack of ocean. but the amazon flows readily through the northern part of the country, go check it out. bolivia also has some of the most remote and least visited nacianal parks, filled with waterfalls, caves, ancient cave paintings, dinosaur tracks.... and on and on.
although if your interested in seeing a futbol match.... go south or east :)
