I have made 4 trips in the past 18 months to Colombia. Bogota is wonderful, large city. Cartagena is a great coastal town. The Colombians, in general, are a very friendly people. It helps if you know some Spanish. As with travel to any foreign country, there are places you do not want to go. In my ten weeks in Colombia, I never saw any danger, but the people there are were very aware of it. And you are right, the women are very beautiful.

Of course . . . it's a must for every traveler out there. I have been to Mexico more times than I can count, Argentina, Cuba, Belize, Equador and Brazil and I can't wait to go again to the countries I missed.

Dont miss Colombia the best part is Cartagena the wall city

Bocagrande (Big Mouth) is the most modern area of the city, with many hotels, shops, restaurants, nightclubs and art galleries. It forms part of a land extension delimited by Cartagena Bay
