Has anyone been on holiday to Uruguay?!?

If so, what did you do?

You are lucky today: I am from Uruguay! There's lot of things to do here, specially in summer time (december- march). You have lots of km of shoreline, from Colonia (in front of Buenos Aires) until Chuy (in the border from Brazil). You can visit Montevideo (Capital), Atlantida, Piriapolis (with it alchemist castle), Punta del Este (the best bathing center of all america), Cabo Polonio (like the dessert but with ocean!!!) Punta del Diablo (a small fishermen town), Santa Teresa (a huge natural park with a fortification from the days of the spanish settlement). Hope this information its usefull to you!

Yes but it was about 30 years ago when I lived in Argentina. I remember that there is alot of beautiful architecture in Montevideo. Check the online travel sites and you'll find lots of info.

Lots of people but it's unlikely you will get replies from them. None of them are ever heard of again. lol
