Mrs. Obama rules!
I went there with some friends a year ago, It was a great, natural beautiful place and we had no problems. The only thing that bothered me were the mosquitoes so I would strongly recommned you take some insect repellant with you. And drink bottled water and then just relax and have fun. You will enjoy your honeymoon a lot! Ah! And take sunscreen lotion as it can get quite sunny and hot and the least you want is to be sun burned during your honeymoon.

Bocas Del Toro is the most beautiful place here in my country: Panama. It's so natural...

Just enjoy it

To be honest you shouldn't worry about getting malaria or another type of an exotic tropical disease.

Bocas del Toro is a beautiful place, and you will find a lot of things to do, especially if you like the outdoors, and beaches. Nice beaches to surf and snorkel or scuba dive, if you cross over from the island to the mainland there's also a lot to see. You're close enough to drive to Boquete and have a different view, as Boquete's weather is more temperate.

Buy yourself a can of bug repellent and lots of water.

Have fun!

It is a very beautiful place, just to relax and enjoy the Caribbean lifestyle. It is a bit rustic, unless you go to one of the very nice resorts. But it is very nice. You dont have to worry about diseases of any kind, just use DEET (Off, or something like that) for mosquitoes and remember your sunscreen lotion.
Have fun and congrats!

Bocas del Toro Panama is very nice, a lot of tourist in it but you don't have to worry about anything. the only is better buy water in a bottle. Bocas del Toro you gone a find very beautiful beaches but its a town. If you want a nice night live go must go to Panama City the place around of Uruguay st in Bella VISTA you can find different restaurants , bars, disco it very nice. And its very very cheap.
I live in Panama come to visit . you will spend very good time here.
