I've been to Argentina and Ecuador. I loved them both and would recommend either! I stayed with host families in Quito, Ecuador and Buenos Aires, Argentina but while traveling I stayed in hostels. There are a ton of things to do in either country so you should check it out! Travel in S America is amazing because you'll see some of the most amazing places and meet great people for a relatively low price! I'm still in school so it's easy to travel on a cheap budget without sacrificing quality.

yes went to bogota, and cali colombia, stayed at the hotel presidente there. nice hotel, also san jose and jaco beach area in costa rica. stayed at la amistad for $35 per night. very beautiful places. colombia is dangerous for many travelers especially if you don't speak the language. never leave the large cities in colombia

Yes.been to Colombia and Panama. Colombia has the friendliest peopel you'll ever meet. Beautiful people, beautiful country. Going back soon and often. Go to www.gov.org before you travel anywhere. there is information on Safe travel, palces to see, places to avoid, phone numbers of embassies, etc. Print the info and take it with you. I usually just enter the embassy # in my cell phone so i'll have it.

Stayed in every Country but Venezuela. Every country is different. I would recommend trying to visit a number of them. You might not want to go back home.
I am in Bolivia now
