Has anyone lived in any latin american country? Would you recommend moving there and why?

So I'm considering moving out of the country (don't know when) and I was just looking for some recommendations. I'm learning spanish that's why I'm considering spanish speaking countries but any other recommendations are appreciated as well.
Also, would it be a bad idea to move before I'm fluent?
Gracias!

Let`s see...In Latin America you can find friendly people, delicious food and wonderful places to visit...it doesn`t matter if you don`t speak Spanish fluently, everybody will help you, everybody wants to be friend of foreigners.
By the other side...the traffic is terrible, there isn`t so many labor opportunities and the extreme poverty is just in front of you...
Saying the truth, foreign people love to live in these countries because they usually have upgrade education and the cost of life is less than in your origin countries, so they are able to adquire a high living status.

Well, I have a nice option for you.ECUADOR you can go there and I ma sure you will love it, the people are nice and helpful and once youa re there eventhough you are not fluent they will help you and being there you will learn faster than if you start studying now, so take it easy,in ecaudor there is amillion things to do, go party, the malls, the nature, the parks, and you can go to galapagos one of the seven wonders of the world .
If you want to chek it our got o youtube.com and I am sure you will be pleased with what they have to offer, and by the way life is cheap in ecuador and easy going.

I lived in Lima, Peru. Peru is a beautiful country with several regions and weather. If you move to any Latin American country be prepared for the crazy traffic, disorganization, polution and noise.

On the bright side, people are very nice and helpful and family and friends are always there for you.

Alright, I live in Montevideo, Uruguay. You should review why are you moving here. In this country you can have good living standard, and retired people who live in Europe like to come live here, but they are RETIRED, they get money from their home countries, and therefore living here is cheap for them. The people is friendly, at least in my country, and you'll find many people who speak english. But don't expect to earn much if you are expecting to work here. Lol Im actually thinking of moving to Europe or the US when I graduate, so I can actually get the money I should after years of studying. Anyway, Is up to you. The countries are beautiful, but remember we are not first world superpowers. If you wanna know more you can IM me or send an E-mail :)
