hey my friend...first of all..it is COLOMBIA. and second..yeah,, women are the most beautiful...if you want thee most beautiful beach in south america go to Santa Marta, Magdalena. it's Beautiful, man...Cartagena is great also...is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Bogota is very cultural...it doesnt have beaches but it's a great place to live...Americans, well, there are more italians in bogota...also people from lybanon. It's a great place...surfing? go to San Andres island. If you want to party, Cali and Medellin are good at them.. you will know what to do once you are there...it's a wonderful country man..i just cant wait to go back to my counrty...I will go to Barranquilla. There are some places that are as expensive as here in the USA. but hauses, rent, food is usually cheaper..good luck, you are making a wise choice...and...the guy who answered first, you should go to see how it really is..just because you people think that the stereotype of colombia is drugs, it doesnt make all my people like that. there are more drugdealers around the world than in Colombia...you are wrong...

Yes there are lovely women there alright! Check out the chicks in Cali and Medellin!!

As for livening conditions the place to be is Bogota. An International metropolis in itself and with 9million+, there are loads of things to do there. It has the largest shopping centre and the neighbouring towns are mesmerizingly stunning.

I have been to Colombia 4 times visiting Barranquilla. If you go there it is very hot and humid. I stayed in the nicest hotel until I found a good apt to rent. The hotel in the El Prado. First class and they can;t do enough for you, If you are American people assuume you are rich and will ask for money. Some at night will not ask they will try to just take it. While there on one trip I witnessed a drive by shooting, a cab driver was shot.

No doubt about the women, they are beautiful and very friendly.....
