I have been living here for four years after living too many years in the USA. My favorite thing about Costa Rica is the laid back lifestyle. Ticos, as Costa Ricans refer to themselves, take life as it comes without worrying too much about tomorrow. It is not easy to adopt that kind of lifestyle and the thinking that comes with it, but I am trying my best. By the way, if you need information about Costa Rica, try the TicosLand.com directory. |

I like to suck up tons of coffee when I go there. They have the best in the world. The people are also very nice and friendly. For a tourist there are many excursions you can take for 1/2 day to full day. Things such as riding a zip line through the cloud forest, kayaking, nature hikes, butterfly tours, volcano tours and so on. Some people I have taken like to drink a whole bunch of beer but that is not my thing. |

I essentially spent every summer of my life in Costa Rica between the ages of 0 and 13. My favorite thing has to be the laid back pace and people in Costa Rica. Relatives of mine that visit from Costa Rica always comment on what hectic lives we live here. There's a popular saying in Costa Rica that sums up this attitude, "Pura Vida." This literally translates to Pure Life, and that's exactly what you experience when you're in a place as naturally beautiful as Costa Rica.
Also, the food and surf are great. As is basically everything else in this country. I just love it all. |

Yep, Ive been and it really hard to think what my 1 favourite thing was!
I LOVE the country so much "Pura Vida!".The people there are fantastic :)...Most things are cheap, the weather is good all year round,the diversity is amazing etc...Are you planning on going there? |
