There is a very good tour to visit the indians (Gnobe Bugle) in their own community. You will have to travel by car, then cayuco (a kind of boat).
Visit aventuraspanama.com for kayac, river rafting and many other interesting adventures.

For starters go to the top of Ancon Hill which is right in the middle of the city. From there you can see everything and get a good overview of how the place is laid out. Good advice to head out to the causeway that connects the islands of Naos, Perico, and Flamenco to the mainland. If you have the time take a boat trip over to check out Taboga island. Best daytrip by far is to head over to the Atlantic side and see Ft. San Lorenzo at the mouth of the Chagres River. You have to drive through some virgin rainforest (on what used to be Fort Sherman, and old military base) to get there. Also see Portobelo while on the Atlantic side. |

Gamboa is a park and you can use a gondola to do a tour and also see the panama canal from there.
Albrook mall if you want to buy cheap and good stuff.
Crepes & waffles is a restaurant near the yacht bay is awesome, delicious food and a great environment.
Las Tinajas is a traditional food restaurant
There are 3 islands connected with panama city by a long way surrounded by the sea (i dont remember de name) but is a good idea take a walk or a bike ride along this (i think is the costway or something like that), you can also see the america's bridge from there.
If you want some cultural things take a tour around the city and the canal, it cost abput 40 dollars and takes 4 hours or so, is amazing |
