Help me understand how this works!!!! ? |
My boyfriend just left to go back to Guatemala,(his country)and he leaves me this address to write him and send some things....I do not understand it and I can't find it on the google earth map.... It is: El Salitrillo Quesada Jutiapa Guatemala. There are no numbers but he said "Thats just how it is there". ??????? I can't find out anything about this place........Any help would be greatly appreciated......Thanks in advance! |

El Salitrillo is the name of the town (a small one), Quesada is the municipio (it's the division of the department) and Jutiapa is the department. If he gave you that address, then be sure it will arrive. It's a very small town. |

El Salitrillo Quesada is the name of the town, Jutiapa is the department. Since Guatemala is so small we don't have states we have departments. So look for Jutiapa and when you locate it look for El Salitrillo although I think it most be a really small town so I don't think you will be able to find it.

Try separate Google searches on "El Salitrillo, Guatamala," "Quesada, Guatamala," and "Jutiapa, Guatamala." (I didn't do a Google Map search, just a regular Google search.) It appears that they refer to regions or cities. I don't understand it myself, but it looks like you should be able to contact your boyfriend with no problem.
If you're nervous about sending his things to the address, try a letter first. If he responds, you're good to go. |

Guatemala has zones all over the place if he didnt leave you a zone i dont know how you would send anything. My husband is from Guatemala City and we mail things there 5 times a year so i think he needs to give you more information. |
