jackson fl uh? u get to miami the best way u can and then take one of the many daily flights to santiago, the chilean capital. both lan and aa fly here. u can also go to nyc or atlanta, but that would cost u more. i suggest u take the lan flights as the aircrafts are fancier than aa craps --u get the tv screen in front of u rather than 3 or 4 screens for the whole coach area. if ur a frequent flier with aa it wont matter as both lan and aa are in the one world alliance and aa converts into miles 100% of the miles u flew with lan --british for instance only gives u like 75% of the miles for a flight with lan!!! i know cuz i fly to the us many times a year.
take the lan flights as well as hostesses are much hotter than aa ones --aa employs only old hacks whereas lan employs younger ones... not THAT pretty but more reasonable.
now, ur 50gs will buy u a stay of 2 years here as an upper middle class income here is like $25,000. food is healthy --i wouldnt say that about food in peru or india-- and a decent hotel room will cost u $100-150 a night. hope this works!!

You might want to think about finding out what aircraft fly to Chile from Florida - you'll probably find that it's something like a Boeing 777. Then you should consider finding out the average speed that this aircraft flys at and work out the distance between Jacksonville and Santiago. Then you take the distance and divide this by the speed of the aircraft. This will give you an approximate time that a plane would take to fly between the locations. Hope that this helps.

From Jacksonville you could take Delta Airlines to Atlanta
( 1.19 minute flight - 276 miles) connect in Atlanta on Delta
and fly the 4715 miles ( approx 9hours 25 minutes) to Santiago

Local currency is the Chilean Peso
1.00 USD = 543 Peso's
