hi im going to be doing some volunteer work down in antigua guatemala and i was wondering if anyone had a good recommendation for a hotel
that includes a private kitchen?
thanks in advance
Well being that I'm from Guatemala and I travel there a lot and Antigua is my favorite city, my family and I fell in love with this hotel called Quinta La Flor. It's in a back corner of the city (the city is a little squared) and it has plenty of rooms. It's perfect for big groups or just two people. We stayed with my entire family of 14 there for a week with two floors, plenty of room, and beds and with an incredible view of the Water Volcano. It has a kitchen and all. They also have a pool but I think you should try this hotel. It makes you feel immersed into the atmosphere without being completely out of your comfort zone. I hope you have a great time in Antigua and I'm glad to know that you are getting two things done at once! Helping and traveling! Have a great trip!

Cant recommend Antigua but would suggest just asking the company you'll be doing work for or book a place for 1 night and ask around when you get there. There are so many place to stay at that can't afford to advertise.
