How are Chileans as people? Are there lots of natives there?

Chileans are kind and welcoming people. Of course, as in any country with a large population, Chileans are incredibly versatile in all facets. There are as many "types" of Chileans as there are Americans, Canadians, etc... Overall, however, I have found Chile to be an exceptionally friendly country.

I think Chileans are great! I married one :D. As far as natives - it's like most developed countries.. ones that were born there and stay and some who come for economic opportunities. Not sure as far as percentages of natives.

Chileans are nice people and they welcome the tourist. They have a diverse population. Around Santiago a big part of the population has European ancestors. In the south around Frutillar and Puerto Mont there were settlements of people from Germany. But in the south and in the north you can see a lot of natives (in the south they are mainly Mapuches, I am not sure which etnia is in the north)

I hope this helps you

Chileans are as good as any other group of people. There are many native born Chileans, and there will be those who have gone there from other places seeking a better life. Among all of them, you will find that there are plenty of good friendly people.
If by "native" you mean indians, yes there are indians there.

Guess they are human like you and me, with a face, body and limbs. So I will say they are nice people like evryone else on earth.
