the right term is "Costarricense",
pronounced, " Cohs-tah-ree-kenn-seh"
try it, its simple.

well yeah.

Guatemala- Guatemalteco/a
El Salvador - salvadorena/o
Nicaragua - Nicaraguense
etc.
hope this helps! =)

"Costarricense"

Don't say "Costariqueño/a" you will sound extremely ignorant especially to a Costa Rican.

The most often used term in Spanish is "costarricense." Costa Ricans refer to themselves in that manner, or they call themselves "Ticos." It is also acceptable to use "costarriqueño." Costa Ricans don't like the term too much, but is is perfectly acceptable.
For any other information about Costa Rica, try the TicosLand directory.
