I agree with seeing the Argentine side as well. Esp. places like Bariloche and the Glaciar Perito Moreno.

It is very cold in winter. Yo uwill need thermals and wind and water proof clothes.

Patagonia is very cold in winter, temperature averages 68ºF. Depends on where you stay you will have rain or snow. Summer and spring is very windy, but not in winter. Patagonia is known for its very tough weather conditions, specially in winter.

You should definetely visit the Argentinian side as well! (weather is the same in both sides)
