I believe you will have to make a connection in Miami, Mexico or maybe Texas. If there is a direct flight it should take about 3 hours. With the connection, I would expect at least a 7 hour trip, but probably longer. |

If you are talking commercial flight, not light plane, you will have to connect in Atlanta, Miami or Houston, depending on the airline. From any one of those to Tegus it's less than two hours direct. |

I know a flight from Charlotte, NC to San Jose, Costa Rica was almost right at 3 hours.
Going off that, I'd assume your flight would be right about the same, give or take about 20 minutes max. |
