It has one official language and it is Spanish.

**ADDED: yes, there are other languages spoken in Guatemala...but the question asked was regarding how many 'official' languages....and the official language is Spanish.

21 mayan languages, Spanish is used the most. Many, many Koreans live in Guatemala and many North Americans as well.

wel there are many languages that the natives speak. And we also have Garifuna people, which are carribean ppl so tehy have their language too.

Spanish is the official language, most people speak it. They also speak another languages like somoe dialects. I attached a link, there you will find the dialects they speak.Hope this can help you.

There are 23 total recognized languages in Guatemala.Spanish, English, and 21 recognized Mayan Languages (Mexico recognizes an additional 8 Mayan languages). Attached are four links that talk about the different Mayan Languages and shows a map of where the different languages are spoken.
