Most Venezuelans are still with 7 though.
The change ocurred this very year and still is not easy getting ised to it.
7 is what they teach in school. 7 that symbolize the 7 provinces that declared independence from Spain back in the XIX century.

In the new flag there are 8, because Chavez wants to change the national identity of the country.
