$ 16,000 - $20,000 depending on how much you spend.

I spent at least US$1,000+ a month during the crisis in 2002. I wouldn't imagine you could afford a similar lifestyle of less than US$2,000 today. If you avoid a decent apartment, restaurants and travelling around the country, I'd say a minimum in BA would be $25 a day, but struggling and not enjoying much.

The exchange rate now is around 1 dollar = 3.15 Pesos

So, it all depends where you'll lodge and your style of life

4000 € would be enough although it would mean you skip some fancy things and stay/eat cheap. 6000€ (4000pounds) would mean a world of difference.

I really don`t know but research it on the net, travellers sites there must be people who have done it and put up their experiences...

If you can survive on £10 a day, then £2,500 should cover it (plus travelling costs) work it out from that.
