I dont know where you two are living, and if its difficult for you to find traditional guatemalan gifts. Thinking about what would i like to receive for christmas (if my girlfriend was giving me a traditional guatemalan gift), I thought that a good one would be receiving one of the following:
1. Black Christ imagery (traditional of Esquipulas).
2. Traditional guatemalan textile (for decorative purposes).
3. Worry Dolls (not an expensive gift at all, you can find them in guatemalan markets for less than a dollar).
4. Collection of traditional custom dolls (its a very nice gift for decorative purposes).
5. If your girl likes jewelry, and you like to give her something traditionally guatemalan, give her jade.

i dont know what guatemala girls like or their tradition but, you should give her maybe a ring ( girls love jewery) or a pet (dog,cat) a dress , something romantic girls love romance.
