I'd say Brazil, just because there's something for everyone there.
From big city life to the Amazon and everything in between. |

They're both beautiful and has its own unique distincitive character it offer. One thing for sure Argentina is cheaper than Brazil thats a fact! Second Brazil has always beautiful beaches than Argentina as well as the fame Amazon but Argentina has the Patagonia & Tierra del Fuego (ends of the world's) south pole. If you want warmer weather Brazil is the way to go, colder is Argentina. People are friendlier in Argentina than Brazil. Pick your choice, what do you think? |

It's entirely up to you.
Like some of the other people have said, if you're into beaches then probably Brazil is best, but if you enjoy a variety of landscapes then you're spoilt for choice in Argentina, with glaciers in the South, deserts in the North West and rainforests in the East. Buenos Aires is a vibrant city where you will find enough culture and entertainment to have a fabulous time.
Both countries are very big so travelling by road or train from city to city can take a long time, so you might be better off booking a few internal flights to make the most of your time there. |

Brazil for beach, enterntainment, and others.Argentina more city like and urban. Anyways, just one hour flight can connect you from Sao Paulo to Buenos Aires. |

Argentina most def.
They have glaciers and rain forests there. You get the best of both worlds. If you like either hot or cold you should go to Argentina. Also it is not as crouded as Brazil is. Less people on beaches and what not. More relaxing. |

I went to Brazil and Argentina last year for a month. I wound up spending most of my time in Brazil. Mainly because I'm into surfing and Brazil has the best beaches. Since you are going in our summertime it will be winter down there and it does get cold down in Argentina. The northeast of Brazil during June and July is very nice. I wound up staying in this nice beach town called Recife. Great beaches and awesome nightlife there. Be sure to learn some Portuguese before you go. Good luck and have fun. |

You want Americans opinions? So you want the opinion of anyone from the American continent? That includes Argentina and Brazil. You could also throw in a Greenlandic opinion too. |
