No. if this is going to be your only trip to South America and you havent been to Iguazu falls, Angel Falls, Cuidad Perdida, Bariloche, Leticia, Macchu Picchu, The plains of Nazca, Easter Island, the Galapagos DONT go. If you been to central and south america and have seen it all.. by all means go. |

YES GO!!!!
I've been to Bolivia 4 times. I absolutely love it there. It is Gorgeous. And the people - so wonderful. There may not be a lot of "tourist attractions" but there is a lot of history.
I would recommend going to the shores of Lake Titicaca, Tiuanacu, La Paz, Cochabamba (up the Cristo de la Concordia statue for great views), Sucre is beautiful, so is Potosi (LOADS of history). The salar salt flats are stunning. The jungles near Villa Tunari are nothing short of spectacular.
I could ramble on and on and on. I love Bolivia.
One hint - the people are very humble - i found they come accross as "cold" if you don't approach them. Once you do, they're so kind and love to get to know you.
Watch the altitude, and enjoy the colours of nature and the people there! |

It depends on what your looking for.... Bolivia isn't very developed as a tourist attraction in comparison to other places in the reason. You can choose if you wish to label that as "chaotic", "dirty", "boring" or "pure", "original", "authentic" and "exciting".
Personally, i would go for the latter, but as I said, it just depends on what type of trip your making and the way you approach things.... |

Yes! Of course you should go. It's really easy to go if you're planning to visit Cuzco & Puno in Peru. Puno is on the northern side of Lake Titicaca and Bolivia is on the Southern side.
Lake Titicaca is an impresive place to go, you're going to see a deep blue sky, people living on a manmade island out of TOTORA REED and on the Bolivian side are the important TIAHUANACO ruins.
Unlike Peru wich is the other country similar to Bolivia (a 200 years ago Bolivia was called ALTO PERU) Bolivia has a very low influence of modernity, makes this country enchanting for the American-European-Asian tourists.
If you go to Bolivia you have to visit, Copacabana at Lake Titikaka, Tiahuanaco ruins, La Paz, Cochabamba & Santa Cruz |

I recommend the Andean part of Bolivia. Natural beauty (the magnificent Andes!!!), monumental colonial architecture and the largest Native American population in the whole America. It's a very unique place. Some photos:

La Paz might be a big city but its not a good as cochabamba. you should defenitely go!!! |
