I have been to Guatemala - many cities and rural areas. I want to teach students the basics of Guatemalan culture - i.e. dress, holidays, lifestyles, government, major exports, economy, etc.. My school is hosting a multicultural night and our class has chosen Guatemala as our country to represent. I love the culture and the people - any suggestions as to what might be interesting/important for 3rd graders to know? Most of my students are between 9 and 11 years old. Thanks for your help.
