I would try and take a friend. Costa Rica is a beautiful place with beautiful girls, but there is a lot of petty crime.
I would recommend Casino Del Rey in San Jose as a place to go at night, if you have a group of people. It is in a dumpy part of downtown and I would absolutely not stay there. Stay somewhere like the International Hotel in Escazu (a nice suburb) and take a cab. Cabs are cheap there. |

It depends on what you mean by 'girls'. If you mean American girls, good luck, most American girls down there either have traveling partners already, or are looking for some local guys!
However prostitution is legal in Costa. In San Jose there's a place called Del Ray (or Del Rey?) with literally dozens of smoking hot girls just waiting to give you a good time. If you're going surfing, a lot of the beach towns have cool bars with working girls too.
Or, you never know, you might meet some cute American (or whatever nationality) girls.
Good luck, I went down there and concentrated on eating good food and surfing. I was too shy to meet Americans and too prudish to get working girls. I sort of regret it now... but am going back soon. |
