There is no one bus line that you can take, but you can make the trip by bus. You'll just need to do some transfers along the way. Here's an itinerary that will work (but yeah, a plane would probably be both cheaper and faster).
* Start off with Ticabus from Guatemala City to Tapachula (about 5 hours)
* OCC runs buses from Tapachula to Mexico City (Norte) (24 hours++)
* Dozens of bus lines run from Mexico City northwards. ETN is excellent,
Turistar, Omnibus de Mexico, etc. (about 11 hours to Monterrey)
* From Monterrey (and many other cities in the northern tier of Mexico), you can catch trans-border buses that will take you into U.S. to Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, or onwards. Americanos is generally regarded as the best of these though Turimex Internacional has very nice, modern buses |

You can take a bus form Guatemala to Mx and then you have to take one from MX to the US, but no direct buses from GTM ot US. |

There are not buses from Guatemala to U.S.,the only one bus company to travel from Centroamerica is Ticobus, from Panama to Mexico. There are buses from Mexico to USA but from another country to USA of course is not. |

With that many border crossings and possibly bus transfers, it's going to take a very long time, and a plane ticket would be cheaper. I suggest just flying |
